I am delighted to announce my appointment as Chairman of Dorset children’s hospice, Julia’s House.
Having supported Julia’s House since its formation in 2006, I joined the charity’s Board of Trustees in 2015, going on to become Vice Chairman in 2016. With only 6% government funding, Julia’s House has to constantly seek innovation in income generation. With my experience helping entrepreneurial businesses to succeed, my appointment as Chairman will see me provide much-needed expert advice, ensuring the charity continues to prosper.
I have personally seen the incredible impact the charity has made in supporting children and their families. The achievements of the charity are remarkable and therefore it is with great honour that I accepted the role of Chairman. I’m really looking forward to working with Martin and all at Julia’s House to ensure the continued success and evolution of the charity.
